Chicago-based artist Morpho has revealed her debut single, ‘Prism’. It’s a dreamy track, with stuttering guitar lines evolving and twisting above a textured, almost shoegaze-inspired accompaniment. Her voice is soft and serene, reflecting the emotional intensity of her lyrics. "It’s about being in love," she explains, "Feeling totally present in the moment with someone else. Time feels suspended, like you’re living in a dream. I wrote this song in retrospect, trying to capture that expansive feeling after the relationship had ended.” Her debut EP, Morpho Season, is due for release on November 15th, 2024, via Hit The North Records. -Dan Peeke
